Piano accompaniment 

This course in accompaniment on piano and keyboard is for you who want to explore different possibilities when it comes to accompanying piano in different music styles such as rock, pop, blues, soul, hip-hop etc. Knowledge in harmony and music theory gives you the opportunity to vary between different genres without having to read music. During the course you will develop basic skills in different music styles and learn piano accompaniment that can be used independently but also combined with singing.

Accompaniment techniques 

It is important for you as a beginner to develop variety in your playing, which is easily achieved when you have mastered different accompaniment techniques and basics of music theory and harmonic structures. You will experience the freedom of playing in different genres and try improvisation on piano and keyboard to eventually discover which style of music is closest to you. The chord &  harmony course is a piano accompaniment course but it also contains basic theoretical training such as recognizing the chord symbols, learning different rhythmical patterns and improvisation. The course is based on playing by ear and interpreting chord symbols as well as playing in groups with other participants.
